Leadership Change at Doodle Following Pivotal Transformation

Zurich, February 10th, 2025 – Doodle, the globally active software provider for professional scheduling, announces that Renato Profico and the company have agreed to part ways in mid-2025 after five successful years.

Renato Profico took over the leadership of Doodle at the end of 2019 and played a key role in shaping the company’s transformation. With him as CEO, Doodle evolved from a purely ad-supported platform to a subscription-based model. During this time, the company achieved numerous significant milestones: elevating the product to a new level, reaching revenue in the double-digit million range, strengthening its market presence in North America and Europe, eliminating technical debt, and establishing a solid foundation for profitable growth.

With the transition to a subscription model largely complete, and considering the unique dynamics of the SaaS market, Doodle’s Board of Directors has decided to initiate the next growth phase under new leadership. The search for a successor with proven experience in scaling a SaaS business is being conducted with professional support. Renato Profico will remain available during the transition period to ensure a smooth handover.
