B2B Fintech expert Dr. Ulrich Schmitt becomes new president of TX Ventures Investment Committee.

Following her new role as Managing Director at High-Tech Gründerfonds, Romy Schnelle is stepping down as president of the TX Ventures Investment Committee and handing over her responsibilities to Dr. Ulrich Schmitt, Partner at HTGF and a proven fintech expert.

Zurich, June 22, 2023 - Romy Schnelle, a former Partner and since May 2023 Managing Director at High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), is stepping down from the Investment Committee (IC) of TX Ventures effective June 2023. In her role as IC president, Romy Schnelle has been instrumental in transforming the corporate venture capital unit into an  independent venture capital fund with >100 MCHF in committed capital, focused on early stage fintech investments. The IC is now led by Dr. Ulrich Schmitt, a partner at HTGF and a proven expert in B2B fintech and cyber security.
