Lausanne and Zurich, 4 November 2011 – Tamedia has named a successor to the designated Chief Executive Officer Christoph Tonini. Effective 1 January 2012, Serge Reymond will also be responsible for the corporate division of media in German-speaking areas of Switzerland with the Tamedia magazines, Finanz und Wirtschaft as well as SonntagsZeitung. Serge Reymond, 48 years old, has been the managing director of Edipresse Suisse since 2009 and has also been a member of the executive board of Tamedia as holder of this position since may 2011.
