Ole Højriis Kristensen new CEO at Trendsales

The Danish online platform for vintage fashion Trendsales ApS has appointed its Chief Technical Officer Ole Højriis Kristensen new CEO with immediate effect. The Copenhagen based company is the largest marketplace for second-hand fashion in Scandinavia and belongs to the Swiss media group Tamedia. 

Zurich, 13 July 2016 – Ole Højriis Kristensen has been Chief Technical Officer (CTO) at Trendsales since September 2015 and will continue to maintain his role as CTO aside his new position as CEO. The Danish national distinguishes himself through a profound expertise in web and software development as well as a long-term experience in management.

Before joining Trendsales, Ole Højriis Kristensen was Associate Director at Saxo Bank as well as CEO at Vodafone Denmark (Zyb Aps). He is also the founder and developer of the mobile social networking start-up Zyb.com which was acquired by Vodafone in 2008. Furthermore, he worked as a software developer at different Danish companies within the online business. The Board of Directors at Trendsales as well as Tamedia's Management Board are pleased that Ole Højriis Kristensen has assumed the role as CEO and wish him much success in his new responsibilities. Trendsales was founded in Denmark in 2002 and is the largest marketplace for second-hand fashion in Scandinavia. In 2014, the Swiss media group Tamedia acquired an 88-percent stake in Trendsales ApS.
