Jessica Drexler, new Head of Strategy Classifieds, Marketplaces & Ventures

Zurich, 3 May 2017 – Effective 1 May 2017, Jessica Drexler was named Head of Strategy Classifieds, Marketplaces & Ventures of Tamedia. She is succeeding Gabriele Ottino who assumed the position of Managing Director at Doodle last February. In her new capacity Jessica Drexler is responsible for the implementation and further development of the company's digital strategy. In addition, she oversees the strategic projects of various investment companies. She will report directly to Christoph Brand, Head of Classifieds & Marketplaces and a member of the Management Board of Tamedia.

 

Jessica Drexler joined Tamedia's M&A Classifieds, Marketplaces & Ventures department in early 2015 and most recently was a Senior Project Manager. Previous positions of her career included Senior Consultant at the global consulting firm OC&C Strategy Consultants in Hamburg and during her studies she worked at Welt am Sonntag in Berlin. Jessica Drexler studied International Management at the European School of Business in Reutlingen, Germany, and the Reims Management School in France. She also obtained a master's degree in Marketing & Strategy from the Warwick Business School (UK).
