Bodo Kipper to be new CEO of the Ricardo Group

Zug, 27 October 2015 – On 1 December 2015 Bodo Kipper takes over as head of the Ricardo Group. The 49-year-old changes from Amazon Germany where, as Head of Merchant Services since 2008, he has successfully expanded the third party business for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Previously, from 2000 to 2008 Bodo Kipper was active in the Goindustry DoveBid, an industrial auction platform; lastly as Head of Continental Europe and a Management Board member. As CEO of the Ricardo Group, he takes over responsibility for the further expansion of the marketplace business.

Bodo Kipper takes over from Christian Kunz who, as previously announced, at his own request has stepped down as operative head of the Ricardo Group and is now engaged on the ricardo.ch AG Board. Christian Kunz joined the Ricardo Group on leaving eBay International AG in 2012 and in recent years has significantly contributed to the successful development of the group.
