TX Markets with growth strategy and classifieds expert Terje Seljeseth on the Board of Directors

Within the decentralized organization of the TX Group, TX Markets is responsible for the complete classifieds and marketplaces portfolio. TX Markets is managed as an independent company by CEO Christoph Brand with his designated successor Olivier Rihs taking over in May 2020. In addition to Chairman Pietro Supino and CEO Christoph Tonini, other members of the TX Group will join the Board. It will be further strengthened by Terje Seljeseth, an expert with international experience in the area of online classifieds and marketplaces. TX Markets endeavors to further boost the leading positions in the Swiss market and continue to expand internationally with strategic partnerships and acquisitions.     

Zurich, 23 January 2020 – The Board of Directors of TX Markets will be joined by two members of TX Group's Board of Directors, Pietro Supino (Chairman) and Andreas Schulthess. Other members of the TX Group are Christoph Tonini (CEO Group until 30.06.2020, thereafter proposed for election to the TX Group's Board of Directors), Samuel Hügli (Head of Technology & Ventures) and Sandro Macciacchini (Head of Finance & Human Resources). Terje Seljeseth will additionally join the Board. Until the end of 2017 he was CEO of Schibsted's Classifieds Media and Chief Product Officer of Schibsted. In these roles he was responsible for the development and management of the global classifieds business of the Scandinavian company in over 25 countries. Other specialists will join the TX Markets Board of Directors in the coming months.
