The PUXies

We are very different, but we have one thing in common: We love good products and cat pictures.

Marta Andreoni
Marta Andreoni
UX/UI Designer and Workshop facilitator
Her education in Service Design, 11 years’ experience in the branding sector and as an entrepreneur, brought her to build a holistic and multidisciplinary approach to business consultancy. Marta likes to help companies to design digital experiences for their users that fit like a tailor-made dress, simply perfect down to the details, and a joy to use. She loves cats, her favorite plants are cacti.
Elena Sánchez Barbarroja
Elena Sánchez Barbarroja
Senior Project Manager
Elena can communicate in six languages and also speaks Schwizerdütsch. She has a Master's degree in business administration and has worked on projects in the financial sector for seven years. With her organizational talent and experience, she is committed to the successful implementation of new products and ideas. She loves tea and foreign countries.
Frédéric Berghmans
Frédéric Berghmans
Senior UX Designer
Originally from Belgium, Frédéric is a UX designer focusing on strategy, research and usability. The agency world and his experience in multiple FinTech companies, has taught him how to solve complex problems, while always putting the user first. Now, he wants to add as much value to all the different offerings of the Tamedia brand. In his spare time you can find Frédéric participating in hackathons, ready to chat about the next big thing in design (or anything else really) over a cold beer or two.
Stefania Cambanis
Stefania Cambanis
Product Manager
Stefania is all about North Star product visions, clearly defined processes and hypothesis led data driven testing. Before Tamedia, she was a Product Manager at Hotels.com (Expedia Group) where she was responsible for the experimentation program on the Checkout flow. She also worked on several cross-functional projects that built customer reassurance, security and trust. She enjoys gathering complex information and outlining it to stakeholders of all levels while also focusing on improving team satisfaction and effectiveness. Stefania is the kind of PM you just want on your team. In her spare time she enjoys jogging in the woods, crispy cooked bratwurst and raclette cheese.
Tymon Dabrowski
Tymon Dabrowski
UX Designer
Tymon likes pretty things and fixing broken systems. Some people might consider his great attention to details as a disorder, but he’d rather not. During his time in branding he realised very quickly that there is more to brands than colors, fonts and stock images of sleazy business men in airports having fun with post-its on flip-charts and lens-flares: Cat pictures. This was when he decided to dedicate his Austrian Hirnschmalz and Polish Herzblut to create memorable experiences that matter – both at work, and in private.
Roos Durieux
Roos Durieux
Senior UX Researcher
With an almost unhealthy passion Roos dives into specific topics to try to completely understand it; the user, the context, the approaches and methods, and creative facilitation techniques. Or how the brain is programmed to deal with specific situations, how to create the best sourdough bread or why her plants keep dying on her. Roos comes fresh from the Netherlands, she has a master’s in Design for Interaction, worked at a small digital workplaces agency as well as at Deloitte to improve the Employee Experience. Now she’s exploring experiences of- and with TX Group users to be able to fully map out contexts and needs, to ensure that products perfectly fit their target audience.
Fabienne Gafner
Fabienne Gafner
Senior UX Researcher
Growing up in the countryside close to the most beautiful city of Switzerland, Fabienne always thought she’d amount to something when she grows up. She now lives in a canton, which name shall not be mentioned, not wearing white socks in sandals, spending her free time practicing for her first beer tölt competition and dreaming of never growing up. After working as a passionate UX Designer in various companies and agencies for the last decade, Fabienne decided to finally focus on what matters most in life: listening to humans and talking to cats.
Heena Greenleaves
Heena Greenleaves
Senior Product Manager
With a penchant for asking the tough questions, advocating for others, and desire to dig deeper, Heena’s innate strengths make Product Management a great fit. Alongside forest rambling, she’s a hip hop fiend and vegan recipe aficionado; be sure to ping her for dinner inspiration.
Anna Niedbala
Anna Niedbala
User Experience Researcher
Anna fled an academic career in psychology to join the ‘real world’ as a UX Researcher. She nerds out over cool testing methods, languages, statistics, and whisky, three of which she uses to understand our users and improve Tamedia products. As a former track and field athlete, she used to have a crippling fear of hurdles. . . but she’s gotten over it now (unlike her penchant for terrible puns). Her primary life goal is to own a cat. Otherwise she loves travelling, rock music, and J. R. R. Tolkien.
Laura Quintana
Laura Quintana
User Experience Researcher
Laura can be compared to her hairdo: ballsy, fascinating and a bit askew. Food (especially sweets) and danceable music make her heart beat faster. In her free time, she is often on the road to explore more places across the world. After engaging at the University of Basel and Google for unique user experiences, she now wants to delight Tamedia product users by researching exactly what they want and what they don’t.
Robin Simon
Robin Simon
CPO Classifieds, Marketplaces & Ventures; Head of PUX
Robin likes to pet random dogs, hangs out with donkeys and travels the world. In his spare time he works for Tamedia where he strives to build good products - or to support Tamedia companies in building good products. Before that he was boosting up startups for nine years.
Armin Seltz
Armin Seltz
UX Designer
Armin can take a computer apart and reassemble it in the blink of a blindfolded eye. His background in graphic design, interaction design and many years of web programming enables him to create compelling user interfaces and experiences. Adding to that, he builds testable wireframes and prototypes to verify design ideas.
Sophia Marie Winkler
Sophia Marie Winkler
Intern
Sophia has studied Transcultural Communication and is a compulsive fencing language nerd. Besides, she has an affinity for Eastern Europe and enjoys dancing to Balalaika music in the Caucasus Mountains. Before her Tamedia time, Sophia worked as a marketing and event manager for the first space nation. She is now our very own super intern.
Finn McFearsome
Finn McFearsome
External Motivational Speaker
Finn grew up in the streets of Sofia where he studied gangsta rap and international economics. After relocating to Switzerland he realized that he’s pretty fluffy so he took an MBA in cuteness and is supporting the PUX team with infrequent cuddling sessions ever since. He currently lives with his mom and a tribe of stuffed animals.
