TX Group expects a decline in revenues
Zurich, 9 July 2020 – Advertising revenues in the current year have plummeted due to the coronavirus crisis. Particularly affected by the continuing decline in advertising are the daily and Sunday titles of Tamedia, the commuter newspapers of 20 Minuten and the advertising marketer Goldbach. For all its consolidated companies, the TX Group expects a decline in revenues of around 20 per cent for the first half of 2020 in comparison with the previous year. The first estimates in mid-April assumed there would be a decline of 10 to 15 per cent.
