Game on! Swiss Radioworld partners with Audiomob to bring In-Game Audio Advertising to Switzerland
Zurich, March 13, 2023 - Swiss Radioworld has recently partnered with Audiomob, the British international marketer and provider of In-Game Audio Advertising solutions. Advertisers can now reach mobile gamers with audio advertising - a novelty in Switzerland.
Niklas Lürken, Business Development Manager DACH at Audiomob, on the partnership: "Audiomob is proud to welcome Swiss Radioworld as a new reseller partner for our In-Game Audio Advertising format. As mobile gaming is one of the largest entertainment channels worldwide, we are constantly looking for partners like Swiss Radioworld, who have an exceptional understanding of the market and its needs, share our passion for technological progress, and strive to be pioneers in this field."
In-Game Audio Advertising with various formats and targeting options
The In-Game Audio Ad can be booked through Swiss Radioworld's specially designed network. It is embedded as a standalone spot directly in the game, without interrupting gameplay. The advertising message is guaranteed to be heard as the audio spot is only played at a volume of at least 30%.
Three formats are distinguished:
- With User Initiated Ads, users determine when the spot is played by tapping the banner.
- With Skippable Ads, players can decide whether they want to hear the audio spot during a 5-second countdown.
- The Rewarded Ad rewards users with In-Game goodies such as additional lives, skills or tips for the next level.
In-Game Audio Ads also offer a variety of targeting options based on socio-demographic characteristics, interests, or game typology. With the new advertising solution, additional touchpoints are thus available for cross-media campaigns.
First In-Game Audio campaigns have already launched
Swiss Radioworld has already implemented the first In-Game Audio campaigns. Steve Krebser, Digital Audio Specialist at Swiss Radioworld, on this: "With this new solution, our customers can now reach the people who play games on their phones with their audio campaigns. If you just look around in everyday life, this is a broad and diverse target group in an absolutely brand-safe environment when gaming."
