BZ Berner Zeitung, the leading media title in the canton of Berne, evolved from several daily newspapers in the region that all have traditions dating back well into the 19th century. The paper's cornerstone is comprehensive expert reporting on regional politics, business, sport and society by the central editorial team in Berne and the regional editorial offices in Burgdorf and Langenthal. Six print editions are published per week and a digital version is available round the clock. BZ Berner Zeitung is published in three regional editions: for the city of Berne, the Emmental and the Oberaargau (where it appears as BZ Langenthaler Tagblatt).
